Welcome to our throwback blog post, where we take a look back at a proud moment as a roofing fastener distributor. In 2020, we were part of an enormous 40 000m2 mall development in Rustenburg, South Africa. The project was developed by The Moolman Group, Twin City Development, and JB Holdings and was one of the largest steel structure projects of the year.
Project Throwback: Mall in Rustenburg
At Corroshield South Africa, we supplied the Class 3 roofing fasteners used to secure the metal roofing to the steel structure.
For this project, we supplied our Tapperman Range of roofing and cladding fasteners, which includes the 10 x 22mm METAPP SQD Wafers and the 14-20 x 22mm METAPP HWF Stitching Screws.
The 10 x 22mm METAPP SQD Wafers were used to secure the concealed fix clip into the steel substrate, while the 14-20 x 22mm METAPP HWF Stitching Screws were used to secure the metal flashing to the metal roofing.
