We were delighted to hear that our products were chosen for the roofing installation project carried out by Rula Roofing in Lake Michelle, Noordhoek.
This project presented some unique challenges due to its location within 2km from the ocean and wetlands. The corrosive effects of saltwater and the harsh coastal environment can cause premature failure of roofing materials and fasteners. For this reason, our PROTAPP FASTENERS were the ideal choice for this installation.
The roofing material chosen for this project was Colorbond AZ200 Corrugated Granite Matt. This high-quality roofing material is known for its durability and resistance to corrosion, making it a popular choice for coastal regions.
One of the challenges of this project was the installation of the new roof covering on top of an old shingle roof. This required careful planning and attention to detail to ensure that the new roof was properly supported and installed.
Our PROTAPP fasteners were used to secure the new roof sheeting to the existing roof structure.
